Edinburgh, you lucky swines! For tomorrow night at Augustine United Church (41 George IV Bridge, EH1 1EL) you will play host to The Douglas Firs' album launch show for their “fuckawesome” new record, 'The Furious Sound' which was released on Monday.

It’s £4 on the door and there’ll be hard liquor with a wealth of great music from Snake Until Listen,Lamplighter, Armellodie’s own Something Beginning With L (making the trip up from London), and of course the Firs themselves. There’s a Facebook event page should you wish to declare your attendance to the public at large.

The album will be available at the shows on CD and ultra-limited “creeptapes”, with handmade packaging made from branches from Hawkhill Wood. Kewl!
