Thirty Pounds of Bone aka Johny Lamb has written and recorded a new entry to the Ship’s Log series.
The Ship’s Log is part of Lone Twin’s ‘The Boat Project.’ It documents the events and experiences of the boat’s voyages.
The new song, ‘Where the Sand is Red’, is for Collective Spirit’s sail from Kingsweir to Brixham, and then on to be lifted from the water in Torquay. A particularly beautiful sail around Torbay, with new skipper Chris, Jubby, and Lone Twin’s own Gregg Whelan on board. And of course, Johny (Thirty Pounds of Bone) himself, retaking his place on the boat as writer of the Ship’s Log…
You can download the new song HERE for free, and catch up on all the previous songs/free downloads HERE.
In other news, Johny makes an appearance on the latest Darren Hayman album. Bugbears is an album of English Civil War songs and Johny arranged/recorded/produced the track ‘Impossibilities’. Needless to say it’s bloody good. You can get that album HERE if you should so desire.
As if that wasn’t enough, Johny, alongside other Armellodie-illuminati Jen from Something Beginning With L, take up their rightful place in Chris T-T's band The Hoodrats for the release of his new album, The Bear. That one can be pre-ordered HERE.
